The National Scholarship “Per aspera ad astra” was created by the Cultural Perspectives Foundation by the idea of the opera singer Ina Kancheva and will support young Bulgarian artists in five fields of art – visual arts, literature, music, dance, theater/performance.

4 competitors from Bulgaria continue to compete in the Ballet Olympiad in the Juniors category this is Iliana Yotova from Sofia. The young dancer has finished Sofia Secondary School in Mathematics “Paisiy Hilendarski” with honours and combines with ease exact sciences with dance, enjoying the support of her family of dedicated to the mathematics people.

Vice President Margarita Popova officially opened the 27th edition of International Ballet Competition – Varna. The Bulgarian competitor in the Juniors category Daniel Obreshkov, student at National School of Arts “Dobri Hristov” – Varna, was the first to dance on the stage.
